Warehouse dashboards monitored stock availability, grade segregation, batch registration, quality test records and lot expiration dates. Sales dashboards provided insights into customer allocations, delivery timelines, stock commitments and margin analytics. Orbiixa designed automated workflows for contract approvals, shipment notifications, customs document preparation, inspection scheduling and real time inventory updates. The client was a multinational commodity distribution company dealing in bulk materials including metals, agricultural goods, industrial chemicals and specialized raw materials imported from different regions and supplied to manufacturing partners across Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Financial teams faced challenges reconciling landed cost calculations including freight, insurance, duties, inspection charges and warehousing fees. The company urgently needed a centralized Odoo trading system capable of managing global suppliers, import export workflows, container tracking, inventory forecasting and financial reconciliation.

Solution

Orbiixa designed a complete Odoo trading and import export automation ecosystem tailored for high volume commodity distribution. We implemented a unified supplier management module to track supplier performance, lead times, contract terms, quality grading, pricing structures and fulfillment history. Purchase workflows were automated starting from RFQs and supplier quotations to confirmed purchase orders and shipment schedules. Import documentation automation was developed to generate packing lists, commercial invoices, customs forms and cargo manifest records directly from Odoo. A container tracking module was added to record vessel schedules, port loading status, ETA updates, unloading progress and clearance stages.
