The client was an international freight consultancy company that specialized in advising global enterprises, exporters, importers, and logistics service providers on cargo movement, customs planning, carrier selection and route optimization. Their business model required complete visibility over carrier capacity, shipment rates, delivery timelines and regulatory compliance. However, their operational workflow was slowed down by outdated tools for booking management, customer consultation sessions, rate calculations, document preparation and shipment monitoring. Consultants manually gathered shipping rates from multiple carriers leading to delays and inconsistencies. A customizable freight pricing engine was developed to compare carrier rates across shipping lines, air cargo services and inland transport providers based on destination, cargo type, container size, port charges and fuel adjustments. This empowered consultants to offer accurate and competitive rate recommendations quickly. The document automation system generated cargo manifests, packing lists, customs declarations, shipping instructions, weight charts and compliance certificates directly from booking data. A customer portal was built enabling clients to submit cargo details, track booking progress, download documents, request consultancy support and view shipment updates in real time. The internal dashboard for consultants showed carrier capacity, port schedules, freight trends, cost forecasts, shipment delays, consultant performance indicators and rate fluctuation analytics. Integration with Odoo Accounting automated the posting of consultancy fees, booking charges, carrier bills and client invoices. The system was hosted securely on Krazio Cloud to ensure global accessibility, fast performance and scalable growth.
